Preparing for today’s and tomorrow’s pharmacist marketplace
Pharmacy Profiles, a subsidiary of the American Pharmacists Association, is a trusted and verified repository of the nation’s pharmacist providers. Built by pharmacists for pharmacists, our platform will enable pharmacists to manage their professional information all in one place.
It will also serve as a single source for pharmacist employers, health plans, payers, government organizations and other industry professionals to validate credentials and professional information about pharmacists. We help these stakeholders identify and verify pharmacists who are qualified to provide a growing array of patient care services.
Representing every type of pharmacist, our vision is to advance the role of pharmacists in providing patient care services. Through our efforts, we seek to strengthen the effort to achieve health provider status for pharmacists at the state and federal levels. We are dedicated to enhancing the transition of pharmacy practice from primarily product dispensing to primarily patient care.
Authenticating and aggregating pharmacists’ professional credentials on one platform will support the nation’s pharmacists in unlocking their full potential as trusted health care providers and members of the health care team.
